Toledo

Toledo was amazing. It was a cute town that had buildings older than the United States. The architecture was really interesting to look at and I found that I actually learned a lot from my Construction 101 class I took last semester while going on all these various tours and looking at all the architecture; who knew! We started our tour by busing up a huge hill to see the whole town from a high point. The sky was very clear and it looked so peaceful. The buildings are all crammed so close together it reminded me of an ancient San Francisco a little bit!

We walked through the town looking at and learning about all the various buildings and churches. Unfortunately it was a little bit of an information overload so I cannot recall all of what I was told, but it was really interesting to listen to our guides talk about how old he buildings were relative to different historical events and what they were all used for.

I just loved walking through the narrow roads on the cobble stones, it made me feel like I was in an oldtime movie!
